A passenger train hauled by the WPYR #69 is passing the former American Shed station on its way to the White Pass Summit

WPY #69 has almost reached the White Pass Summit with its short freight train. In less than one mile, the train will cross the border between the United States and Canada.

As the train was approaching the wooden trestle and the Tunnel Mountain, the places on the platforms became very expensive. It was a hard fight to get a good position to take a picture.

The WPY Mikado #73 has just left the Gulch tunnel with a regular steam hauled passenger train.
